elf Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil is the most budget friendly but you wont be sacrificing quality. I have been using this thicker pencil for about 3 years. Easy, quick, simple and great color.
I don’t have a lot of brows so this quick stick is perfect to cover for sparse brows. I’ve been super happy with the colors I’ve picked too. I don’t have to worry that this looks unnaturally red or dark. Taupe (for
blonde to light brown hair) is my current go to color. But I’ve tried blonde as well when my hair was very light and was just as happy. I keep one in my purse lest I have to dash out without my brows done. It not waxy nor slick but in my opinion a goldilocks just right texture. Spoolie at the end is an added bonus.
elf Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil also comes in a water proof version in 5 colors for $4. I have not tried that version.

I originally bought this one on a whim. So glad I did. I had tried its sister the The Thick It Stick it brow gel mascara (in 8 colors ) so I was familiar with Brow Mascaras. I bought this hoping the tint would cover my few white eyebrow hairs on each brow. Good news it did! Its SO affordable too.
NYX Professional Makeup Tinted Brow Mascara doesn’t smudge or move during the day. it doesn’t flake off or irritate my skin or eyes. The color doesn’t fade or oxidize. (I use color chocolate) I thought chocolate was a little more red than I like but right now my hair is died a light auburn color so it fits perfectly.
This is a wet formula that dries down fairly quickly. My brows look fuller and fluffier with just a few quick swipes. This has a nice soft hold. If you have very stubborn wild brows this likely wouldn’t work for that.

Brow Harmony Precision Eyebrow Pencil fills in sparse areas easily. 96% said it doesn’t smudge or fade, and resists sweat and oil. In fact I’ve fallen asleep with this pencil on and still had a full brow when I woke up! I like how blendable this cruelty free brow product is and the shade matches my brows to my hair color so well. This is a soft pencil. Not for fine precise strokes if that’s what you’re looking for. But its super fast coverage and does cover a grey brow here and there.
This formula is a bit more creamy going on than the above two. I love its opaque color and how great the color is. The color selections are some nice ones. I chose Rich Taupe for medium to dark blonde hair. If you’re picky about color this is for you. It’s best for me to use with a light hand because it can build up very quickly. It can to clump if you use too much.
