In addition, the acquisition is also set to include the Baby Bum collection of sun protection and baby care products, the companies said.
Prior to this Sun Bum’s claims were that they are paraben-free and most importantly, are cruelty free (i.e. not tested on animals). It remains to be seen if this will be continued in the future.
“The Sun Bum brand is a welcome addition to our portfolio of trusted products,” Fisk Johnson, the chairman and chief executive officer of SC Johnson said. “It also expands our robust selection of fast-growing, on-trend products like Babyganics, Method, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day and Caldrea that appeal to consumers and their families.”
The global sales of Sun Bum items to other countries makes way for the cruel & inhumane practice of animal testing.
