Beauty packing list for weekend travel

This is an easy packing list for weekend travel or your hospital maternity bag.

BB or CC cream with a high SPF. This is another great multiple duty item that is a must have on any trip. It can replace your moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, and makeup
Purlisse Perfect Glow BB Cream SPF 30
has some good coverage in 8 colors if that’s what you’re wanting
Deodorant. This can double as fragrance in pinch.   A mini of your scent can be popped in your purse. A nice scent can do the trick short term. My favorite is Ginger Lime.
Mineral deodorant kill the stink, fast, and keep dry.
A color stick that works on lips and cheeks. This double duty stick can save time and weight in your baggage. Grab a multi use, crème to powder formula, that you can use for lips & cheeks. One shade on cheeks & lips to look pulled-together instantly MultiBalms are very convenient to use. You don’t even need a brush to evenly blend this product onto your cheeks. I tend to look tired without cheek color & lipstick so this is “must do” for me.
Pixi MultiBalm. 2-in-1 cheek and lip color stick.  $6.00 .4 SHADES

Mascara. I like to take my tried and true formula because I want no flaking or smearing surprises while traveling. If it’s a wedding or crying situation I recommend water resistant mascara.
Dry shampoo. It’s super handy tool that you can use anywhere. Train, plane or automobile. You’ll need a tiny travel sized can if you’re doing a plane ride. It must be 2 ounces or under or it will end up in the TSA bin. It’s affords a quick waterless touch up for hair that’s oily or turned flat from bedhead.
A mini travel face palette with a mirror. You wont need 31 flavors (colors) for a weekend and these mini palettes will do the trick.

Revolution Beauty Legacy Palette by Maxineczka
All-in-one palette featuring 9 eyeshadows, 1 highlighter, blush and a bronzer. The perfect travel companion for on-the-go makeup.Designed and created by YouTuber Maxineczka: “I wanted to create the perfect travel palette that would have all of my favourite eyeshadow colours, as well as a bronzer, blusher and highlighter.

A light shimmer shadow can double as highlighter if you’re really wanting that step. A matte brown shadow can work for a brow powder as well. The palette should have enough colors for a variation from day to night. Take caution to prevent breakage  in your bag.
I think it’s a perfect size for travelling.

A couple mini eye and face brushes. I like minimization when traveling but if you’re more comfortable with full sized brushes go for it. I like this little set. It’s great to take away on holiday, small AND COMPACT.
Petite Chic – 6 Piece Mini Brush Set. This must-have collection of mini face and eye brushes offers plush, two-tone synthetic bristles that can be used with liquids, creams and powders to achieve superb placement, easy blending and results every time. Plus, the set comes with a compact zip-up case that fits easily into your purse for flawless application on the go.
Concealer. Good for hiding those blemishes and dark circles from a late nights or longer travel hours. I like a  liquid formula, a quick swipe will allow you to enjoy a smooth and easy application, disguising everything from dark circles, to dull skin tone, pigmentation and redness.
Facial wipes. For quick easy makeup removal. No bottles need with this one. I recommend micellar water wipes as they can be juicer and not so dry. No one wants to feel like have to wipe super hard to get their face clean. Micellar water doesn’t require actual water to work, so there’s no rinsing needed. In case you’re new to the term, micellar water is a liquid that looks and feels exactly like enhanced H20, but it’s made up of gentle microscopic oil molecules called micelles suspended in soft water that attach to dirt, grime, makeup, and other nasties that stick to your your skin. It removes overnight residue in the morning as well. They work better on eye makeup. No one wants to feel like have to wipe super hard to get their face clean. micellar facial wipes are also handy as a wet wipe when needed.
A small hand cream. Here’s where the TSA rules apply too. A good hand dream can also double as a hair pomade to settle down frizzes. It can also double as a fragrance if scented, if you don’t need more than that.
Eye mask and earplugs. An eye mask and earplugs could be just what you need during the downtimes or for your well-deserved shuteye. Everyone needs their beauty sleep.

Don’t forget tissues, hairbrush, comb, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs, hairdryer and hair ties. An extra ziplock bag is handy in case you have something that starts to leak.
