Crystal Deodorant Awarded Clean Label Project Purity Award for Deodorants

Clean Label Project is a nonprofit organization focused on bringing truth and transparency to consumer product labeling. The Clean Label Project takes products to an accredited analytical chemistry laboratory for testing. The scope of testing includes heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury), pesticide residues (including glyphosate), plasticizers (including BPA, BPS, and phthalates), and label claim substantiation.
Products that perform in the top 33% are then eligible for its Project Purity Award.
Clean Label Project prides itself on simulating the consumer shopping experience and being the ONLY third-party standard that requires unannounced sampling and testing at retail- testing the EXACT same products that consumers have in their pantries and refrigerators. The Clean Label Purity Award lets shoppers know that when it comes to deodorants, they not only comply with, but surpass the strictest parameters for contaminants, chemicals and other unnecessary toxic additives.
And of course they are cruelty free. They are proud members of both Leaping Bunny and PETA.
Crystal will be adding the Clean Label Project’s Purity Award seal on all of its packagings beginning in 2020.
